Associate Fulfillment Manager

The Role: 

The Associate Fulfillment Manager will be working directly with the Assistant Fulfillment Manager to supervise, train, and oversee our fulfillment and returns teams. They ensure all day-to-day shipping operations go smoothly to maximize overall productivity. This includes returns processing, shipping orders, and quality assurance. This role will require constant communication with teams within the warehouse and fulfillment departments as well as various departments throughout the company.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure returns and exchanges are being processed accurately and efficiently
  • Monitor and audit various spreadsheets used for returns processing
  • Coordinate and oversee processes for customer repairs and replacement hardware fulfillment
  • Work with fulfillment teams to plan for the day so that all shipping goals are met
  • Train and audit fulfillment and quality inspection teams to uphold FREEBIRD’s fulfillment standards
  • Record and monitor daily shipping metrics on both team and individual levels
  • Develop a solid understanding of the inventory processes
  • Assist the Assistant Fulfillment Manager in improving current processes regarding returns, shipping, quality inspection
  • Develop and maintain better organization practices throughout the department
  • Assist various fulfillment teams with day-to-day operations as needed

 

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Previous management experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products including Outlook and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
