Content Creator - Denver, CO

This is a temporary part-time position expected to last approximately 90 days, with the potential to transition into a part-time or full-time role based on business needs and performance.

We're looking for a creative storyteller to showcase the Freebird lifestyle and bring our brand to life across our social channels through engaging, authentic, and visually compelling content.

The Content Creator is responsible for planning, creating, and publishing engaging content across Freebird's social media channels. This role combines creative storytelling with strategic thinking to grow brand awareness, increase engagement, and drive traffic and sales. The ideal candidate is equal parts creator, videographer, photographer, editor, copywriter, and trend spotter. 

Key Responsibilities :

  • Produce high-quality short-form video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other emerging platforms.
  • Capture lifestyle photography and behind-the-scenes content.
  • Edit videos and images for social-first storytelling.
  • Develop compelling captions aligned with Freebird's brand voice.
  • Create content featuring products, customers, employees, events, and brand campaigns.
  • Manage daily publishing across all social channels.
  • Maintain and execute the social content calendar.
  • Identify emerging social trends and recommend new content opportunities.
  • Collaborate with influencers, ambassadors, and creators.
  • Support product launches with engaging multimedia content.
  • Track social media performance and engagement metrics.
  • Analyze content performance to identify trends and opportunities 
  • Prepare monthly reporting with insights and recommendations.
  • Optimize content strategy using performance data and platform best practices.
  • Become an expert on our product line.
  • Communicate cross-functionally with management, marketing, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure content and campaign execution.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in social media marketing, content creation, or a related creative role.
  • Must reside in or within reasonable commuting distance of Denver, Colorado.
  • Available to work approximately 15-25 hours per week during the hours of 9am-5pm MST
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple creative projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Meta Business Suite, TikTok, Youtube, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Comfortable appearing on camera and directing others during content shoots.
  • An interest in fashion, styling, and current trends. Familiar with the Freebird brand is a plus!

Compensation: $27-$36 hourly depending on experience
