Agreement of Rules

Please read these rules before entering Freebird Stores “Design Your Boot” 2026 contest. You agree that by entering this giveaway, you will be bound by these Official Giveaway Rules and you acknowledge that you satisfy all giveaway eligibility requirements. In addition, you agree to accept the decisions of Freebird Stores as final and binding as it relates to the content of this campaign. 

Eligibility 

This giveaway is limited to legal residents of the 50 United States of America. Entrants must be at least 18 years of age. The Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state, provincial, municipal, territorial, and local laws and regulations. Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Promotion. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.

This giveaway is sponsored by Freebird Stores located at 1101 E 126th Ave, Ste 190, Thornton, CO 80241. 

Timing 

This giveaway will run from 12:00 am (MST) December 4th, 2025 to 11:59 pm (MST) December 31st, 2025. The winner will be announced on January 1st, 2026. Freebird Stores server is the official time-keeping device for the promotion. 

How to Enter

Step 3: Follow @freebirdstores on Instagram and comment on our contest post.

Prize

The winner will receive the opportunity to collaborate with the Freebird design team virtually to create a one-of-a-kind pair of boots. Meeting will take place no later than 3/1/2026. 

The final design must be created using Freebird’s approved lasts and leather color swatches. Exotic materials are excluded and may not be used in the finished product. 

Prizes cannot be transferred, redeemed for cash or substituted by the winner. Sponsor makes no representation or warranty concerning the appearance, safety or performance of any prize awarded. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen prize items. 

Odds

The odds of winning depend on the number of entry(s)/participants received at the end of the giveaway period. 

Winner Selection and Notification 

The participant will be randomly selected at 11:59 pm on December 31st, 2025, and announced on January 1st, 2026, on our website (FreebirdStores.com) and through our social channels. The winner will be notified via email within one day after the selection. Freebird Stores will have no liability for Winner's failure to receive notices due to spam, junk email, or other security settings or for Winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. 

Rights Granted by You

By entering this giveaway,  you understand and agree that Freebird Stores shall have the right, where permitted by law, to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use in any media  (e.g., photo, video, text, etc.) now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity and throughout the World, without limitation, your entry, name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, image, statements about the Campaign, and biographical information for news, publicity, information, trade, advertising, public relations, and promotional purposes. Without any further compensation, notice, review, or consent. Optional verbiage for Contests: By entering this content, You represent and warrant that your entry is an original work of authorship, and does not violate any third party’s proprietary or intellectual property rights. If your entry infringes upon the intellectual property right of another, you will be disqualified at the sole discretion of Freebird Stores. If the content of your entry is claimed to constitute infringement of any proprietary or intellectual proprietary rights of any third party, you shall, at your sole expense, defend or settle against such claims. You shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Freebird Stores from and against any suit, proceeding, claims, liability, loss, damage, costs or expense, which Freebird Stores may incur, suffer, or be required to pay arising out of such infringement or suspected infringement of any third party’s right.

General Conditions

Freebird Stores reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Promotion, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, human error or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Promotion, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion or to be acting in violation of the Official Rules of this or any other promotion or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

Limitation of Liability 

The Released Parties are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Promotion; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries; (5) late, lost, undeliverable, damaged or stolen mail; or (6) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Promotion or receipt or use or misuse of any prize. If for any reason an entrant’s entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, the entrant's sole remedy is another entry in the Promotion, if it is possible. If the Promotion, or any part of it, is discontinued for any reason, Sponsor, at its discretion, may elect to hold a random drawing from among all eligible entries received up to the date of discontinuance for any or all of the prizes offered herein. No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded. In the event that production, technical, seeding, programming or any other reasons cause more than the stated number of prizes as set forth in these Official Rules to be available and/or claimed, Sponsor reserves the right to award only the stated number of prizes by a random drawing among all legitimate, un-awarded, eligible prize claims.

Disputes

This giveaway is governed by the laws of Denver County and the state of Colorado, without respect to conflict of law doctrines. As a condition of participating in this Campaign, participant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Campaign, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in [your state/province] having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances shall participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorney’s fees, other than participant’s actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e. costs associated with entering this Campaign). Participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
