Social Communications Representative

The Role:

We are looking for a passionate, self-driven, customer-centric Social Communications Representative to engage and provide exceptional service to new and current customers by establishing relationships and providing a memorable brand experience through social media.

 

They will serve as a community moderator and act as the customer service point person for specific social channels. We are seeking an energetic candidate, who loves all things social media. This person wants to develop an organic conversation with our Flock community by posting inspiring responses to comments, DMs, and brand hashtags while building our overall social media presence through engagement.

 

Candidates must be well-spoken and confident in their communication skills, as well as be proficient in all social platforms. In addition to continually creating ways to make the customers’ experience better, this position ensures feedback flows to all teams to improve and innovate our services.

  

Responsibilities:

  • Interact directly with customers via Freebird Stores owned social media platforms.
  • Check & respond to all comments, social listening, recommendations, community posts, direct messages, shares & tags and follow-up as needed on respective social media platform.
    • Monitor and comment on posts from our top affiliates, influencers and most engaged followers.
  • Take on a styling role and be aware of all current trends to assist customers with their orders
  • Resolve customer issues by identifying problems and coordinating appropriate corrective action
  • Research & present new ideas, trends, strategies for Freebird Stores owned social media platforms.
  • Analyze and share common themes, trends, and FAQs from customers.
  • Monitor and comment on posts from our top affiliates, influencers and most engaged followers.
  • Monitor fraudulent accounts claiming to be or represent Freebird Stores brand or footwear
  • Understand and represent the Freebird lifestyle and culture
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed
  • Weekends & nights required

 

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years in a social media communications role
  • Customer service experience a plus
  • Retail or E-Commerce experience preferred
  • The ability to quickly, calmly and professionally engage customers to understand their questions/issues and deliver a solution with and experience that surpasses expectations.
  • Impeccable organizational skills
  • Superior verbal, writing, copy editing and proofreading skills.
  • Empathetic and patient “people-person”
  • A talent for critical thinking, creative problem solving and multitasking
  • Proficiency to self-start, multi-task, follow-thru, follow-up - all with a focus on accuracy
  • Ability to tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations using proven processes
  • A demonstrated desire to learn and grow with an organization
  • High level of energy, persistence and positive outlook with a team player attitude
